In what can be called a uniqueness that many music artists do not have today, 2K Ponce Juno strives to maintain his roots as an international artist putting in work to dominate the international airwaves. The recent release of his latest single, a remix of his 2019 smash hit, “Go Pretty Girl” is one of the first steps in a long line of strategies to take over the global music market.

2K Ponce Juno is not just the average artist; he is a versatile artist who brings Caribbean and Jamaican flavor to Hip-Hop. Right from the beginning of his career, 2K Ponce Juno has always been a music businessman looking for opportunities to grow. His first project, “Chicken Grease n’ Grits” went live in 2012, and he got a few thousand hits on it. Fast-forward to almost a decade after, 2K Ponce Juno has gotten songs blaring out of clubs and event venues. On March 15 2019, he released an EP titled “Coolli Bandz,” which featured his hit single, “This Life.” “This life” earned him a spot on the Takeover Tour powered by the AAMG family.

His approach to his music career is one that carries with it a lot of good and positive vibes. He believes in making music for the sole purpose of making people happy, which explains why he infuses groovy, danceable tracks in his projects. The song’s remix, “Go Pretty Girl” features Dancehall legend, Beenie Man, and sultry Jamaican singer, Double K, and since its release on January 15 2021, the song has dominated the airwaves. The song was produced by Max and fans have described it as a timeless piece of music that can be enjoyed many years to come.

2K Ponce Juno’s brand is all about growth and development. In his words, “My brand and my company are always striving for the best. We are always looking to further develop and grow with our team. We strive for overall excellence in all that we do. We motivate our team members every day.” His Caribbean sound style is a distinct quality that he embodies, and he hopes anybody that loves the sound enjoys his music.

He is not one to compare himself to anyone because he believes that he’s a unique artist in his world. “The music produced is different from familiar sounds and vibes but is never to be seen as a comparison to a fellow artist. There is no competition with artists who produce similar genres and have the same outward expression of their love for The Lord. The separation from the music produced by 2k Pounce and secular artists is simply the difference in lifestyle lived by the artists,” he says.

His five-year goal is to play an active role in developing other artists into global stars. Being a music artist signed to Sony Music Group while running his own record company Ellipse Group Records is one of his favorite things to do and will be more than happy to help other upcoming musicians do great things with their careers.
