Cardi B has never been one to hold back, and she took the time to share some political concerns with her Instagram followers on Wednesday (Jan. 16).
The rapper’s rant comes following the news that President Trump summoned tens of thousands of federal employees back to work without getting paid as the government’s partial shutdown continues into its third week.
“I don’t want to hear y’all motherf—ers talking about ‘Oh, but Obama shut down the government for 17 days.’ Yeah, b—, for healthcare so your grandma could check her blood pressure and you b—-es can go check your p—- at the gynecologist with no motherf—ing problem,” she declared. “Now, I know a lot of y’all don’t care because y’all don’t work for the government or y’all probably have a job. This s— is really f—ing serious, bro, this s— is crazy.”
“Our country is in a hellhole right now. We really need to take this serious,” she continued. “I feel like we need to take some kind of action. I don’t know what time of action, b—-, because this not what I do. B—-, I’m scared. This is crazy and I really feel bad for these people who gotta go to f—ing work to not get motherf—ing paid.”
