Amazing Grace by Aretha Franklin, (film directed by Sydney Pollack) is set to open for Roger Ebert’s film festival this year in Champaign-Urbana in Virginia from April 10th – 13th.
This film from 1972 is said to have been restored and released after being stored in a vault for decades. This year’s festival will begin with “a glorious, gospel-infused high note.” This will be a film festival you DON’T want to miss.
