Suno has launched its v6 AI music generation models, developed in partnership with Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe. The company’s earlier models will be phased out, according to Chief Product Officer Jack Brody.
The rollout marks a notable shift for Suno, which faced copyright infringement lawsuits from major labels before striking licensing arrangements with some of them. The involvement of WMG, BMG and Believe signals a move toward more formal industry cooperation on AI music tools.
