Mark Wills has released “I’ll Fly Away,” a new recording of the gospel standard featuring fellow Grand Ole Opry members Ricky Skaggs and Rhonda Vincent. The single previews Wills’ upcoming album Grand Ole Revival, due Nov. 6 via Gaither Music Group, which the label says was recorded live inside the Grand Ole Opry House and marks only the second live audio album captured there since the 1970s.
The album, produced by Ben Isaacs, features a lineup of country and gospel artists including Cody Johnson, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill, Jamey Johnson, Travis Tritt, The Oak Ridge Boys and The Gaither Vocal Band, among others, performing hymns and gospel standards across 12 tracks. It follows Wills’ August single “The Baptism of Jesse Taylor,” featuring Jamey Johnson, Charlie McCoy and The Gaither Vocal Band.
Wills, a longtime Opry member, has notched 19 Billboard-charting singles over nearly three decades, including the six-week No. 1 “19 Somethin'” and hits such as “Wish You Were Here” and “I Do (Cherish You).” Grand Ole Revival is available for pre-order ahead of its November release.
