“She Creates Noise,” the podcast hosted by songwriter and producer Sarah Nagourney focused on women in the music industry, has launched its third season. The show features conversations with executives, artists and entrepreneurs, and has been named one of the industry’s top podcasts by Music Week, according to the announcement.
Season three’s guest lineup includes Reservoir Media founder and CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi, artist Sammy Rae, The Suffers frontwoman Kam Franklin, Primary Wave’s Laurel Stearns, former TuneCore CEO Andreea Gleeson, and songwriter Jenna Andrews, whose credits include BTS and Sabrina Carpenter.
To mark the launch, Nagourney will host a panel event called “Women Shaping the Future of Music” on September 19 at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton, New York, with panelists Sam Cox, Kate Hyman, Taylor Barton Smith and Andreea Gleeson, plus a performance by Toby Lightman. The organization also recently became fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas, which the show says will support expanded programming and educational initiatives.
