Rammstein will release a concert film documenting three sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium in cinemas worldwide starting November 4, with a limited theatrical run. Tickets go on sale September 23 via rammsteinmexico.live. A companion live album will follow on physical and digital formats November 20.
The film captures performances from October 1, 2 and 4, 2022, the final dates of the band’s 2019-2024 global stadium tour, which included the band’s first-ever North American stadium run in 2022. According to the announcement, the three Mexico City shows drew nearly 200,000 fans. The concert was shot in 4K and directed by Paul Dugdale, whose past credits include concert films for the Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Elton John and Adele.
The film will be distributed globally by Trafalgar Releasing, except in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Alto Adige and Luxembourg, where Filmwelt Distribution will handle release. Release dates vary slightly by market, with France opening November 6 and Japan screening November 5 and 18.
