Music photographer Scarlet Page will open “Held: Three Decades of Artists and Their Gibson Guitars,” an exhibition of live and portrait photography spanning her career, at Gibson Garage London on Sept. 23. The show runs through February 2027 and features images of Foo Fighters, Alex Turner, Lenny Kravitz, Slash, Robbie Williams, The Cure, AC/DC and Wolf Alice, among others.
The exhibition draws on Page’s archive dating to 1993, including a shot of Jeff Buckley’s 1995 Pyramid Stage performance at Glastonbury, Angus Young supporting the Rolling Stones in 2003, and Alex Turner during Arctic Monkeys’ 2023 Glastonbury set. Page’s early work includes a 1994 Lollapalooza assignment and a photo used for the cover of The Verve’s “A Northern Soul.”
According to the announcement, signed limited-edition prints from the exhibition will be available through RedHouse Originals. Gibson Garage London, which opened as Gibson’s first store outside the U.S., is located on Eastcastle Street and hosts guitars, live performances and other events alongside the retrospective.
