Hot Topic is partnering with My Chemical Romance to mark the 20th anniversary of “The Black Parade,” with a monthlong retail campaign tied to the album’s expanded reissue, arriving October 23 on Reprise Records. The chain’s Ovation Hollywood location is being converted into an immersive pop-up through October 31, featuring exclusive merchandise, photo installations and a replica throne referencing the band’s stage production, according to the announcement.

The celebration coincides with the conclusion of My Chemical Romance’s Black Parade 2026 Tour, which the band says will include five shows at the Hollywood Bowl on October 21, 23, 24, 30 and 31 — a run the announcement describes as the first time an act has played five consecutive nights at the venue. Hot Topic stores nationwide will carry expanded MCR merchandise, anniversary-branded shopping bags and storefront artwork by James Jean, the original album cover artist.

On October 23, all Hot Topic locations will host a listening party for the album alongside the release of a Hot Topic-exclusive double vinyl edition of “The Black Parade” 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition. The original album has been certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA and was included on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, according to the announcement.
