Nashville-based singer-songwriter Bennett Woolsey has released his new single “Milan,” available now on streaming platforms. The track is the fourth single from a forthcoming EP due later this year and addresses long-distance relationships, according to the announcement.
“Milan” follows previous singles “Chevy Chase,” “Cigarettes & Alcohol” and “Spirit Wine.” Woolsey wrote all the songs on the upcoming EP himself, which the announcement describes as his most personal project to date, touching on themes of nostalgia, independence and early-adulthood transitions.
Woolsey previously fronted indie rock band Brookside, whose single “Jimmy the Chameleon” has drawn more than 12 million streams, according to the announcement. He also recently collaborated with artist Maryjo on the duet “Used to You” before turning his focus to a solo career blending Americana and indie influences.
