Los Angeles pop rock artist Jamie Alimorad is re-promoting his holiday single “Santa Sucks,” originally released in November 2025 on Jamie Alimorad Music. The song’s music video won Best Comedic Video at the Las Vegas Music Video Awards, according to the announcement, and the re-release follows Rolling Stone UK naming Alimorad its number one Artist to Watch for 2026.

Alimorad wrote the song and produced it with Jordan Sherman, with co-writing input from Bill Meyers, whose credits include Earth, Wind & Fire, Gino Vannelli and Madonna. According to Alimorad, the track incorporates background vocals from more than 50 friends and family members who submitted voice memos, and the accompanying music video features his music students alongside friends.

The single follows Alimorad’s prior album “This Is Tomorrow Calling,” made with Grammy-nominated artist Gino Vannelli, which the artist says produced singles that reached the top 10 of the New Music Weekly Hot 100 and earned Hollywood Music in Media Award nominations. His track “Brighter Days” won the Overall Grand Prize at the 24th Annual USA Songwriting Competition, according to the announcement.
