Untitled Group has announced DRIFT, a new single-day electronic music festival set to debut in two Australian cities in early 2027. The festival will take place at Ozone Reserve in Perth on Sunday, February 28, and at the Gateway Bridge Underpass in Brisbane on Saturday, March 6, each featuring two stages with local and international electronic acts.

According to the announcement, the festival is built around themes of musical discovery and exploration, with distinct stage design and atmosphere tailored to each city. Ahead of the launch, Untitled Group has also rolled out a promotional campaign called The Drift Study, described as a cryptic, sleep-study-themed trail of clues tied to a dedicated website.

Nicholas Greco, co-founder and managing partner of Untitled Group, said the company wanted to create something beyond the traditional festival experience, citing the strength of the electronic music communities in both Perth and Brisbane. DRIFT adds to Untitled Group’s existing festival portfolio, which includes Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts Festival and Ability Fest. The company describes itself as Australia’s largest independent music and events company.
