Sound Rink, the VIP ticketing and presale platform, has taken a stake in Fan Club Pro and is rolling out a fully managed fan club service for artists, extending its business beyond touring-related offerings. The service combines Fan Club Pro’s membership software with Sound Rink’s operational support, handling fan communications, customer service, membership strategy and exclusive content on artists’ behalf, according to the announcement.
Artists using the platform can manage memberships, content and fan data in one place, with revenue from paid fan offerings routed directly to artists through a Stripe integration. Dashboard Confessional’s Saints & Sailors fan club, which Sound Rink has managed for several years, has already migrated to the new platform, the companies said.
Sound Rink says it plans to eventually release a standalone version of Fan Club Pro available to any artist or creator, beyond those already using its presale and VIP services. The company says it has paid out more than $24 million to artists since 2023 through its existing VIP and presale business.
