New York indie-pop duo SUM SUN has released a new single, “Worth the Wait,” ahead of their debut album “Rendezvous,” due December 4. The song, accompanied by a lyric video, blends organic instrumentation with an escalating, anthemic arrangement, according to the band.

The duo, made up of Nick Benton and Ilan Pomerance, say the single has drawn attention from fans and cast members of the TV series “Off Campus,” including actors Belmont Cameli and Antonio Cipriano, who have engaged with the band online. SUM SUN says it has amassed more than 25 million streams over three years and received editorial playlist support from Spotify.

The band will celebrate the album’s release with a show at Mercury Lounge in New York on December 3, one day ahead of the LP’s release. The duo previously toured the U.S. supporting The Strike and says more tour dates are forthcoming.
