Lady shocked the girl audience in Las Vegas on Saturday night (Jan. 26) when she brought out Bradley Cooper to perform their award winning (and chart-topping ) duet from A Star Is Born , “Shallow. ”
At the Park MGM within Las Vegas — where she’s mounting her two residencies, Stew and Jazz & Piano — Cooper sauntered out from backstage to embrace his co-star and leading lady before grabbing the stool with the microphone. Gaga went under to her knees at their feet, awestruck, and eventually produced her way to the cello for her verses and the song’s soaring chorus.
Gaga performed “Shallow” throughout her Enigma show back in Dec , but this represents the first time she and Cooper have taken Ally and Knutson Maine’s duet from the big screen to the stage since the release from the film.
“Shallow” received a 2019 Oscar candidate selection for best initial song, and Lady and Cooper are selected for best actress and greatest actor, respectively. The monitor has already racked up is victorious at the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards for best song.
