Indie folk-pop artist Tom Siletto has released a new single, “american pride,” via Arista Records. The track follows his debut EP “counting horses,” which arrived earlier this year after he signed with the label, and marks his first release since that project.
Siletto describes the song, which he calls “swag folk,” as a track about falling in love from a distance and navigating cultural differences within a relationship. He previously collaborated with fellow artist amelie kalia on songs including “jacket” and “couldn’t i,” and continues to work with her as he builds toward his first official full project.
Siletto, a Berklee College of Music graduate raised in Northern California, is currently on a 14-date tour supporting folk artist Brenn!, with stops including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver and Denver. He has also previously opened for Chris Lanzon and Paige Fish on West Coast dates.
