Tencent Music Entertainment has priced a $1 billion bond offering split into two tranches: $500 million in 5.050% senior unsecured notes due 2031 and $500 million in 5.650% senior unsecured notes due 2036.
The company said proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and fund share buybacks. The offering adds to TME’s capital-markets activity as it manages its balance sheet alongside its streaming and licensing operations in China.
