Baby Snakes & The Electric Co., the project of Dallas producer and Modern Electric Sound Recorders founder Jeff Saenz, has released a new single, “Diamonds on the Chorus,” along with a music video directed by Max Poscente. The track is the third single from the band’s debut album, Ouroboros, due October 23 via Spaceflight Records.

The video, inspired by the visual style of Miami Vice, follows Saenz driving through downtown Dallas. According to the announcement, the clip intentionally shows Saenz performing everyday tasks such as putting on his boots and driving, referencing his recovery from a 2021 accident that resulted in the amputation of both his hands.

Ouroboros contains 12 tracks, with the album described as one song written per month over the course of a year. The band will host a listening party at shyboy hifi in Dallas on October 22, featuring a DJ set by electrophunck, ahead of the album’s release.
