The Weeknd launched the Asia leg of his After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour this weekend with two shows at Tokyo’s Belluna Dome, marking the final leg of the tour and its first run through Asia. The Tokyo dates included a guest appearance by singer Yoko Takahashi, who performed her 1995 song “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis,” and the debut of a new track featuring Takahashi accompanied by visuals designed by Yoko Taro.
The production features a 12-meter sculpture by artist Hajime Sorayama, which the tour describes as the largest commissioned fine artwork used in a live concert production, along with masks created by Tetsuya Nakamura and stage looks by Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME. Japanese acts Creepy Nuts and DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U joined as opening-show guests and will appear on select dates through the Asia run.
According to the announcement, the tour’s 2026 Europe and UK leg grossed more than $345 million across 42 shows and drew over 2.3 million fans, while also raising more than $2.2 million for the UN World Food Programme and Global Citizen. The tour has sold more than 7.5 million tickets since its 2022 launch, according to the promoter, and the Asia run has expanded from an originally announced 11 shows to 17 due to demand, with upcoming stops in Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
