Rammstein will release a concert film, “Rammstein – Live in Mexico City,” in cinemas beginning November 4, with tickets now on sale. The film documents three shows the band played at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium in October 2022, the closing dates of a stadium tour that ran from 2019 to 2024. The release is distributed worldwide by Trafalgar Releasing, with Filmwelt Distribution handling Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Alto Adige and Luxembourg; release dates vary slightly in France and Japan.
A companion live album and home video edition are set for release on November 20, with physical and digital formats available for pre-order. The film was directed by Paul Dugdale, whose past concert-film credits include the Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Elton John and Adele, and features the band performing songs spanning its catalog, including “Du hast,” “Sonne” and “Deutschland.”
The tour marked Rammstein’s first stadium run in North America. The band’s most recent studio album, ZEIT, arrived in 2022, following its 2019 self-titled release, which the band says reached the U.S. Top 10 on the Billboard 200.
