Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators have released the single and music video for “Flying Blind,” the title track from the band’s fifth studio album, due Feb. 26, 2027, via Gibson Records. The 12-track record was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette and recorded largely live at Studio Barbarosa in Florida, with the band completing most of the sessions in roughly a week, according to the announcement. The lineup includes Slash on guitar and pedal steel, Myles Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and Frank Sidoris on rhythm guitar.
The band says the title track came together quickly during pre-production rehearsals, built around a riff Slash introduced on the spot. The accompanying video was shot at The Viper Room in Los Angeles and directed by John Harvatine IV. The album follows 2022’s “4” and marks the group’s first full-length release since then.
Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators have also announced the Flying Blind World Tour 2027, starting in Latin America in April before moving to North America on April 23 and continuing through the U.K. and Europe. North American dates include two nights at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and stops at New York’s Beacon Theatre, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s Citizens House of Blues and Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. General ticket sales begin Oct. 9, with early access available through a separate sign-up. In conjunction with the release, the band has partnered with Fandiem on a sweepstakes benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the National Alliance on Mental Illness, offering a trip to meet Slash backstage at a show in Cardiff, Wales.
