Lost Leaders, the musical project of Peter Cole and Byron Isaacs, will perform at The Mint in Los Angeles on November 11, following a screening of the upcoming film RUN at the American Film Market. The set will feature songs from the film’s soundtrack, Atalanta, which Lost Leaders composed, produced and performed on as the backing band.
The duo will be joined by several artists featured on the soundtrack, including Vicki Peterson & John Cowsill, Ryan Wright, Esabalu, Byland, The Mastersons, Sputnik the Band and Kendall Jane Meade. Singles from the soundtrack already released include “Atalanta” featuring Amy Helm, “Maybe It’s Just Me” featuring Samantha Fish, and “These Are Days” featuring Sgt. Splendor, Kate Vargas and Eric McFadden, issued as an EP on August 28.
RUN is directed by Melissa Miller Costanzo and stars Sarah Levy, Phillipa Soo and Adam Pally, with Chris Redd and Hannah Dunne in supporting roles. The film marks the first full-scale film composing credit for Cole and Isaacs, who worked with music supervisor Charles Newman and producers Jax Katz and Barrie Levitt Knee on the project.
