Finnish turborock band Grillijono K.O. has released a new single, “Dildometsä” (“Dildo Forest”), along with an accompanying music video, ahead of its third studio album, Ei tällä elä… mutta kuolee nopeammin, due January 22, 2027.

According to the band, the song was inspired by a roadside rest stop near Vaasa, the group’s hometown, and uses satire to address homophobia in Finland. Singer and guitarist Lobo-Tommi said the track explores how homophobic attitudes historically pushed men into secrecy, referencing Finland’s classification of homosexuality as an illness until the 1970s.

The album will be the band’s follow-up to 2024’s Härmägeddon and 2021 debut Napalmia korville. Grillijono K.O. will support the release with a tour across Finland starting January 22 in Tampere and running through late May, with stops including Helsinki, Oulu and Jyväskylä. The band has previously opened for Therapy? in Finland.
