Public voting for the 16th European Festival Awards opened and runs through November 20, with fans able to cast votes for Best Major Festival, Best Medium-Sized Festival, Best Small Festival and Line-Up of the Year 2026.

Separately, entries for jury-decided specialist categories, including Green Operations, Event Safety, Brand Activation, Take A Stand and New Kid On The Block, close November 1, after which a jury will determine a shortlist and winners. All nominees are set to be announced in early December, according to the organizers.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for January 13, 2027, at De Oosterpoort in Groningen, the Netherlands. Tickets are on sale in two tiers: a €100 premium package including an afternoon industry networking session, gala dinner and aftershow party, and a €25 tribune seat covering the ceremony and aftershow party.
