Production Futures has released the shortlist for its 2026 Breakthrough Talent Awards, which recognize emerging talent across live events, touring, music, festivals, theatre, film, broadcast and audiovisual production. This year’s list spans 24 categories and is backed by 34 industry sponsors including ISE, Universal Pixels, Chauvet, ChamSyS, Neg Earth Lighting, Martin Audio and AV Alliance.
According to the organization, winners may receive mentoring, specialist training and bursaries to support their career development. The announcement coincides with Production Futures’ tenth anniversary; the organization says it now works with more than 100 industry partners connecting emerging talent with employers and training providers.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 19 at Production Park in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, as part of the final Production Futures ON TOUR event of the year. The organization says this will be the first year the ceremony is live-streamed to reach an international audience.
