Nashville blues-rock band Tobacco Road has released “Too Far Gone,” the fifth single from its debut project, now available on streaming platforms. The track marks the midpoint of the band’s planned project and closes out the group’s first year together, according to the announcement.

The song was written by guitarist and vocalist Briggs McElwee after an impromptu writing session at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival last summer, and was later developed with the full band in their East Nashville garage. It features interplay between McElwee and lead vocalist Annabel Dwyer, with the band citing Watchhouse and Fleetwood Mac as influences on the harmony-driven arrangement. A full-length music video accompanies the release.

Tobacco Road released its six-song debut EP, “All In Time,” earlier this year and has shared stages with Flatland Cavalry, Houndmouth, Winyah, Penelope Road and Marlon Funaki. The band has upcoming tour dates through December, including stops in Asheville, Athens, Nashville, Carrboro, Wilmington and Isle of Palms, followed by an appearance at Rock On The Rock Boat in February 2027.
