Black Box’s latest release roundup includes new music from several artists across country, rock and alt-pop. Singer-songwriter Abbie Callahan released her sophomore EP, “And For My Next Trick…,” a seven-song collection she describes as pushing her “kaleidoscope country” sound further. Callahan recently wrapped her OptiMYSTIC headline tour, which included what the announcement describes as a sold-out hometown show in Iowa City, and is set to join Willow Avalon and later Orville Peck on tour.
Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated rock band Fuel released “Bad at Love,” a single from their upcoming seventh studio album, Pendulum, due October 30. The release follows a summer tour that included a show at New York’s Silver Lining Lounge, with additional fall dates planned.
Also out this week: Los Angeles producer-artist HARRY WAS HERE released “Highways,” the first single from his next project following his The Fool EP, accompanied by a music video. Country artist Hudson Westbrook released “One Night Wonder” ahead of his album Made You Look, continuing his Hits Me Tour after what the announcement describes as sold-out shows at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth. Country artist Will Jones released “Dead Man,” following his single “Babies and Country Music,” with fall tour dates in Ohio, Nevada, Minnesota and Indiana.
