A long awaited comeback from Adele arrived last Friday, on November 21, with her new album “30” . In this work, the singer opens up about her divorce. As she said in her interview to Vogue, “It’s sensitive for me, this record, just in how much I love it. I always say that ’21’ doesn’t belong to me anymore. Everyone else took it into their hearts so much. I’m not letting go of this one. This is my album. I want to share myself with everyone, but I don’t think I’ll ever let this one go.”. Moreover, Adele shared some details about one of the songs in the album, which is called “I Drink Wine” – originally, the track should have been 15 minutes long! “[The label] was like, ‘Listen, everyone loves you, but no one’s playing a 15-minute song on radio.’”, said Adele in a conversation with Rolling Stone

Apart from bringing 12 very emotional and personal tracks, Adele went further and initiated some changes on Spotify.

The streaming platform announced that it accepted Adele’s request and removed the default option of shuffling tracks when playing an album in order to save correct narrative flow made by an artist.

This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry!”, tweeted Adele,”We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended. Thank you Spotify for listening”.
