Ana Cristina Cash has released a new single, “The Harpeth River,” featuring guest vocals from Alison Krauss and Marty Stuart, along with an official music video. The song was co-written by Ana Cristina and her husband John Carter Cash, who also produced the track, and was written as a tribute to the late Loretta Lynn.

The video, produced by John Carter Cash and Christen Pinkston and directed by Kevin J. Leman, follows Ana Cristina along the Harpeth River, which runs near Lynn’s home in Hurricane Mills. Ana Cristina has also partnered with the nonprofit Tennessee Riverkeeper to raise awareness around river conservation in connection with the release.

Ana Cristina is set to perform the song at the Grand Ole Opry on Nov. 12, which the announcement describes as her 18th Opry appearance. She previously signed a global publishing deal with BMG Rights Management and has recorded much of her recent material at Cash Cabin studio in Nashville.
