Billy Morrison presented Sharon Osbourne with an official chart award on behalf of Ozzy Osbourne recognizing the top 10 performance of the vinyl picture disc single “Gods of Rock N Roll,” according to the announcement. The track, written by Osbourne and Morrison and released in 2025 with Steve Stevens, peaked at number 3 on the Official UK Vinyl Singles chart. The award was presented at the Los Angeles premiere of the concert film “Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning” on October 14.
The double A-side disc also includes “Crack Cocaine,” a 2024 collaboration between Morrison, Osbourne and Stevens from Morrison’s album The Morrison Project, which the announcement says reached number 1 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart. Both songs are described as Osbourne’s final studio recordings.
Separately, Morrison and Nuno Bettencourt were recognized for “Becoming,” the lead single from Morrison’s fourth album Hollow, which reached number 19 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, according to the announcement. The song, featuring Sully Erna on lead vocals and Bettencourt on lead guitar, marks Morrison’s third consecutive top 20 rock radio hit and is on the For Your Consideration ballot for a Best Rock Song Grammy.
