“101 Voices,” a large-scale live production reimagining Depeche Mode’s catalog with orchestra, choir and live band, is set to play Berlin’s Uber Arena on December 16. The show follows what organizers describe as a sold-out debut attended by more than 10,000 fans.

The production features Christian Eigner, Depeche Mode’s touring drummer since 1997, alongside Christian Schottstädt of German tribute act Forced To Mode. The more than two-hour show reworks 28 songs drawn largely from the “Black Celebration,” “Music for the Masses” and “Violator” eras, performed by a 45-member Hungarian National Male Choir, the Budapest-based Hungarian Studio Orchestra, and a live rock band, with more than 80 performers total.

The project is led by conductor and musical director Richárd Riederauer along with arrangers Gergő Borlai and Lili Fehér, and was initiated by producers Balázs Petke, Dániel Szabó and György Sallai, who say they spent more than a decade developing it.
