Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) has announced 79 additional emerging artists for its 2027 edition, taking place in Groningen, Netherlands, from January 13-15. The festival, which bills itself as Europe’s leading showcase event for new talent, says the latest batch spans a wide range of genres and countries, with more names expected in the coming weeks.

Among the additions are acts from the UK, France, Germany, Ukraine, Belgium and several other European countries. The expanded lineup follows a familiar format for ESNS, which combines delegate-only showcases at De Oosterpoort with public performances across venues in Groningen.

BBC Introducing will mark its 20th anniversary at the festival with a showcase at the newly opened venue Tumult, featuring artists from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, hosted by presenter Jess Iszatt. Additional UK acts are scheduled to perform at the Forum and Stadsschouwburg venues, with some showcases supported by the PRS Foundation. Tickets and delegate passes for Eurosonic and the accompanying Noorderslag festival are currently on sale.
