Amsterdam Dance Event and professional services firm EY have jointly developed an AI-powered “ADE Assistant” designed to help attendees navigate the festival’s five-day schedule, the organizations announced. The tool became available September 30 through ADE’s website and app ahead of the festival’s October 21-25 run, which marks its 30th anniversary edition.
The assistant lets users input preferences such as desired energy level, favorite artists, location, timing and how niche or mainstream they want events to be, then surfaces programming recommendations tailored to those inputs, according to the announcement. EY says it contributed expertise in AI and service design, including research into how attendees make decisions, while ADE provided knowledge of its program and audience.
The assistant is the first output of a three-year strategic partnership between EY and ADE, which describes itself as the world’s largest live event for electronic music, drawing roughly 600,000 visitors and more than 10,000 industry professionals annually. This year’s edition features nearly 1,300 events. Both organizations said the tool will continue to be refined in future editions based on usage data.
