Gibson has selected Bogotá singer-songwriter Paula Pera as its newest Artist Spotlight musician, part of a monthly program the guitar brand uses to promote emerging artists across its global platforms, including Gibson.com, social media, Gibson Garage retail locations and the Gibson Gazette.

Pera, who performs as Paula Pera y El Fin de los Tiempos, has built a following in Colombia’s indie scene since 2021 with a sound she describes as blending indie rock, retro pop and música de plancha. According to the announcement, her career highlights include performances at Festival Estéreo Picnic, Movistar Arena and Teatro Colón, as well as a sold-out solo show at Teatro Libre de Chapinero. She was also selected for Amazon Music’s Rompe Colombia program in 2023, which the announcement credits with expanding her touring reach across Mexico and Latin America.

Her 2024 debut album, Fin de los Tiempos, received a nomination at the Premios Nuestra Tierra awards. Gibson says Pera is now working on a follow-up album, noquieroquemequieras, slated for release in May 2026. She joins a 2026 Gibson Artist Spotlight roster that also includes De Nachtwacht, Charlotte Sands, Bandalos Chinos and Last Train, among others.
