San Antonio alt-rock band INOHA has released its second album, “This Might Be Useful,” a 10-track record exploring themes of pressure, ambition and expectation following the band’s breakout success. The album’s release coincides with the announcement of a headlining North American tour spanning more than 30 dates from September through November, including stops in San Antonio, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto.
INOHA’s rise followed the viral success of its single “Seventh Heaven,” which earned RIAA Gold certification and helped the independent band surpass 200 million Spotify streams, according to the announcement. The band says it has built its audience largely outside the major-label system, relying on touring and direct fan engagement rather than chasing another viral hit.
Tracks on the new album include “Figure It Out,” “Everything Is Nothing,” “Cusp,” “Weak” and “Burden,” which the band describes as addressing burnout, comparison and the strain success places on personal relationships. The tour kicks off September 19 in San Antonio and runs through mid-November, with dates across the U.S. and stops in Toronto and Vancouver.
