Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def has withdrawn its $18 million royalty lawsuit against Sony Music, with both sides telling the court they had resolved the matter. Terms of the resolution were not disclosed.
The dismissal was entered without prejudice, meaning Dupri and his companies retain the right to refile the claims if the underlying dispute resurfaces.
