Everyone knows the iconic Lil Uzi’s forehead piercing with a pink diamond which cost him $24 million, but not everyone heard the details about how this process actually went.

On December 10, the rapper went live via Twitch on Trainwreck’s Scuffed Podcast and shared that his insurance was not a fan of this new accessory. “My insurance tried to cut me off, they were like, “This kid’s trying to kill himself,””, revealed Lil Uzi, “Because we knew it was a piercing, my insurance looked at it like, “This kid just implanted this diamond in his head, and he’s gonna die.” I really had to call the piercing person and show them low-key… it’s literally a piercing.”

The artist had no doubts that the piercing won’t provoke any complications in the future, therefore, he was surprised that the insurance company reacted in a different way. In his own words, “I never even thought about my insurance company, like my life insurance. I just started living life, I’m like “what they f*ck are they calling for?””

Even though they didn’t approve it at first – eventually, it turned out to be just fine. The rapper said that “everything is straight” now.

Nowadays, Lil Uzi Vert doesn’t have a pink diamond in his forehead due to the incident at Rolling Loud Miami which happened in July, 2021. “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out.”, mentioned Lil Uzi to TMZ. However, according to NME, he plans to bring it back.
