Lionette’s explosive debut single ‘Chasing’ – out now on House of Fun Records – breathes a brand of ‘pop-optimism’ into the world of dance music, proving her rare ability to straddle the worlds of underground and radio palatable future bass with grace and humility.

Lionette aka Dominique Maber is a powerhouse of technical talent and style. As a DJ, Singer, Song Writer and Producer she is fast proving herself to be one of Australia’s finest female acts. Playing alongside some of the biggest International artists, she’s known to perform seamless R&B & Hip Hop and blur the lines of commercial, underground and surprise EDM classics in her headlining sets. She’s created her own individual sound, crafting a mix of different genres to leave the crowd always wanting more. She prides herself on crowd reading and keeping the masses engaged and entertained.

She has supported Australian and International acts like Slumberjack, Set Mo, Brooke Evers, Zeke Beats, Tigerlily, The Potbelleez, G Wizard, Go Freek, Jesse Bloch, Discovery, Soundcheck, Justice Crew, Mann (USA) Dante Thomas (USA) and DJ I-Dee (USA) among others. She’s played to the likes of Kevin Hart at RNB Fridays Sydney, Ian Thorpe at Sokyo at the Star Sydney and NRL ledgends like Johnathan Thurston, Sam Thaiday, Andrew Johns and Billy Slater at the 2019 NRL launch party with Channel Nine AU. She’s graced the stage at Mountain Sounds festival in 2018 which amassed over 6,500 people and peaked the DJane top 100 polls at number 12 in Australia. Her debut self-produced track “Chasing” paired with her own electric vocals was released via House of Fun records this year and is set to release more of her own Future Bass tracks in the new year.

Among her many achievements LIONETTE is an accomplished actress, model and brand ambassador with numerous international and local short and feature films, commercials, music videos, radio/TV interviews and print advertising campaigns. She was featured in Vogue Italia online on two separate occasions with her modelling career taking off further with two nationwide modelling awards from Australian Fashion Bash. She’s been featured on Australian wide radio stations (Radio 96FM Perth, ABC 666 Canberra, ABC 612 Brisbane, 4ZZZ Brisbane) and was interviewed live in studio on the Network Ten morning talk show ‘Studio 10’ about her career and upcoming productions.

Lionette is no stranger to representing prestigious brands after being chosen as the face of CPR hair. She’s walked the runway for Sri Lankan fashion week in Colombo which aired on Art TV Sri Lanka. U.S designer Desi Allinger chose her to walk in runway shows in Sydney and then again in the United States in Portland for Paint the Runway Purple. She’s represented Australia at the International Indian Film Festival in Goa India and was cast in her first international TV series as Andrea for season 6 of the hit Japanese TV Show ”Otona No Kiso Eigo.”

She has had the pleasure of representing the following brands – GHD, Swarovski, Myer, David Jones, Platypus Sneakers, CPR Hair, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Sephora, Supre, MECCA, NARS, AUS Turf Club, The Star Casino Sydney, and Tourism Australia.

Aretha Franklin Film Is Set To Open At Ebertfest 2019

Amazing Grace by Aretha Franklin, (film directed by Sydney Pollack) is set to open for Roger Ebert’s film festival this year in Champaign-Urbana in Virginia from April 10th – 13th. This film from 1972 is said to have been restored and released after being stored in a vault for decades. This year’s festival will begin with “a glorious, gospel-infused high note.” This will be a film festival you DON’T want to miss.

Logic Releases “Do What You Love” Official Video: Watch

Logic and Joseph Gordon-Levitt started a project back in 2018. They kept on the down-low until this year. They invited people from all over to help out with their song “Do What You Love” and they were featured in the official video.
In the video, the people who helped out with this project come out from a trunk of a van parked at this gas station and began to perform as they reveal how they took part in the project.
Logic states in the announcement video, “It’s about doing what you love, no matter what it is, whether it’s music or writing or art.” The video premiered March 15th at SXSW through HITRECORD and YouTube Originals. The song is a part of Band Together with Logic, produced by Gordon-Levitt. It’s a one-hour YouTube Original Special. See new music video below:

Kacey Musgraves & Chris Martin Performs “Rainbow” at 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Since Musgraves’ big win at the 2019 Grammys for album of the year, she appeared at the iHeartRadio Music Awards just last night (March 14th).  
The country star sang “Rainbow” with Coldplay’s lead, Chris Martin while he played the catchy ballad on piano. Kacey sat on top of a giant rainbow while she delivered her sweet performance while everyone sang along with her.
Afterwards, she took home a music award from iHeartRadio for best cover song with Harry Styles.
