The stories of struggles and triumphs in life are what Sir Eliot Ness Baldwin uses to connect people through the power of his hip-hop music. Hailing from a city known for its unique approach to hip-hop music, he goes back to the struggles and victories that he has experienced throughout his life in his newly released album, “I’m Me Pt. 1.”

Being the younger brother of one of the most notable female rap artists in the hip-hop industry, the Lady of Rage of The Dogg Pound, Baldwin was musically inspired growing up. He witnessed his older sister dominating the hip-hop industry. This also greatly helped him in developing his work ethic as a recording artist. It also fueled his passion and drive to achieve his dreams in the music industry and in life.

This self-made recording artist and producer effectively carries his messages across through the music he creates. His songs remind listeners of how one can rise up from the adversities that life has put them through. The way he imparts his personal life struggles makes the music so relatable for the listeners; it is as if the listener is rapping and singing about his or her own story.

With numerous mixtapes at hand, Eliot has worked with many heavyweight rap and hip-hop artists in the music industry such as Paul Wall, Daz Dillinger, Scarface, Willie D, Devin the Dude, Luenell, and Lil Jon. His work with these amazing artists landed him the attention of music media giants MTV and VH1, which have also featured several of his musical works.

His new single Mary Jane ft. Luenell, Devin the Dude, Yung Redd, and Tony Mack, is now available on the Youtube channel Hustlaz On The Block Entertainment. His previous single releases include “Small Time GMix,” featuring Scarface, Willie D, and Daz Dillinger produced by Worm and “Fast Lane,” alongside Hogg Booma produced by Bruce Bang.

But more than that, he is not just a recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur. His world does not only revolve around music and singing. He is actually also a strong advocate for health awareness surrounding congenital heart disease and lupus for struggling communities. The hip-hop recording artist has a soft spot for those who come from communities where finding medical care for these diseases is difficult.

He incorporates his advocacies in the projects that he initiates in order to give back to the community. In doing so, he is setting a good example among his contemporaries. Also, this selfless act impacts more families than he could hope for.

The power of rap and hip-hop music to transform lives is known and acknowledged by avid listeners of these music genres. While the rappers and hip-hop artists spit words in a fast-paced manner, they do so in a way that they truly strike the right places. And with that, the listeners themselves are able to feel the emotions and stories that these artists are striving to convey.
