Sublime will return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on April 17-18 for a two-night stand marking the 35th anniversary of the band’s debut album, 40 Oz. to Freedom. The band will perform that album in its entirety on the first night, followed by a full performance of its self-titled 1996 album plus additional catalog cuts on the second night. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, November 6.
The shows follow what the band describes as a breakout year, driven by its first new album in three decades, Until the Sun Explodes, released via Atlantic Records, Regime Music Group and SVNBVRNT Records. According to the announcement, the album’s title track and lead single reached No. 1 on the Mediabase Alternative radio chart and Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart for three consecutive weeks, following an eight-week run at No. 1 for the 2025 single “Ensenada.” The current lineup includes original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh alongside Jakob Nowell, son of late frontman Bradley Nowell, on vocals.
The band also points to the self-titled album’s recent RIAA Diamond certification, recognizing more than 10 million units sold, which was marked earlier this year with an exhibit and acoustic performance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The announcement notes that Sublime’s 2026 Red Rocks shows sold out within a week, according to the band’s representatives.
