New York indie-pop duo SUM SUN will release their debut album, Rendezvous, on December 4. The band, made up of Nick Benton and Ilan Pomerance, has released a string of singles over the past year ahead of the full-length, according to the announcement.
The duo also released the album’s title track and an accompanying video, directed by Camille DZY and Rowan Cassandra Lin. The band said the song reflects the rush of a budding attraction, and described the album as their clearest statement yet of the project’s identity.
SUM SUN completed their first nationwide tour this year as support for The Strike, with stops including Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York. According to the duo’s bio, they have amassed more than 25 million streams in three years and received editorial playlist support from Spotify. The act says new tour dates will be announced soon.
