U2 and Live Nation have announced the Carnaval De Luz Presents: The Greatest Show on Earth World Tour, launching February 23, 2027 in Mexico City. The run, in support of the band’s forthcoming 16th studio album Carnaval De Luz, also includes dates in São Paulo and Buenos Aires with support from Beck, marking the only Latin American stops confirmed so far. Additional European and North American dates, including a planned return to Ireland, are expected to be announced in coming weeks.
The announcement arrives alongside a new single, “The Greatest Show on Earth,” co-written with Brian Eno and the third song released from the upcoming album, which is due November 13, 2026 and produced by Jacknife Lee. The accompanying video was directed by Anton Corbijn and shot in the California desert.
The tour marks U2’s first stadium dates since the Joshua Tree Tour concluded in Mumbai in December 2019, a run the band says drew nearly 3 million fans worldwide, and follows a 40-show residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale via a U2.com subscriber presale starting October 19, with general on-sale beginning October 22.
