The MTV Video Music Awards just announced that Sebastian Maniscalco, will be hosting the show this year August 29, at the Prudential Center in New Jersey staring at 9pm EST.
Bruce Gillmer said in an interview that he is thrilled to have such incredible comedic talent such as Sebastian Maniscalco to host this year’s VMA show. It will truly be a night to remember.
Maniscalco has been on the radar in the industry since 2018 when he made his feature film debut, as Johnny Venere in the Academy Award-winning film Green Book. In the same year, Maniscalco was chosen by Billboard for Comedian of the Year, and was included on Forbes’ World’s Highest Paid Comedian’s list.
Maniscalco will be touring this year as well which is set to kick off September 12 in Tulsa, OK.
