Nashville-based singer-songwriter Cooper Riley will release his first holiday track, a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Someday at Christmas,” on Nov. 13. The Memphis native, known for blending bluesy textures with country songwriting, said the song’s themes of hope and kindness resonated with him growing up, according to the announcement.

The track was produced, mixed and mastered by Aaron Farmer. It follows Riley’s single “Outta Time,” released earlier this year and co-written with producer Alex Angelo. Riley is also working with producer Brandon Hood, whose credits include Ty Myers and Mackenzie Carpenter, on new music slated for early 2027.

Riley, 22, is scheduled to perform at the inaugural Backstage Access Presents: Music City event during CMA Awards week, on a bill that includes Lee Brice, Carly Pearce, Lauren Alaina, Chase Rice and Flatland Cavalry. He previously appeared at Backstage Access Presents: Napa Valley and Heartland showcases.
