Bowling Green, Kentucky duo Girl Tones released their debut album “Precious” today via Parallel Vision and Big Loud Rock. The record was produced by Brad Shultz, co-founder and guitarist of Cage The Elephant, who signed the sister act — vocalist/guitarist Kenzie and drummer Laila — to his Parallel Vision label.

The 2026 Amazon Music Artists to Watch alumnae have supported Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups and The Velveteers, and have played Lollapalooza and Just Like Heaven, according to the announcement. The band says the album draws on personal material, including the title track, which Kenzie wrote as a tribute to her late grandmother, and the closing song “Mirror,” written following the death of her grandfather.

Alongside the release, Girl Tones have put out an official video for the single “Glowing Buzz” and are set to kick off a headlining East Coast tour next week with support from Modern Cult. The band will also hold a record release event at Grimey’s in Nashville on November 12.
