Bandzoogle is a 100% remote company, so we all get to work from home. But once a year, we drive and fly in from all over the world, leaving our cozy home offices behind for the comfort of a beautiful resort in Quebec, Canada.
During the course of the year we keep in constant contact with each other, organizing tasks using Basecamp, and talking things out in text and voice calls with Slack. We’re getting better at this digital connection thing all the time, but each year we truly cherish the opportunity to connect face to face.
We’ll put in some work talk with team meetings, and some play time as well (think: cabanas by the pool). Families are invited to attend, and as the years go on, more and more children have joined the Bandzoogle family (with one arriving at any moment!)
Most of our staff have been with the company for quite some time and we’ve grown close. So while we’re used to working remotely, and love it, that moment when you see your coworkers in person again after a year is an undeniably heartfelt moment, with hugs all around!
All this to say that we will be a bit quieter than usual on our online channels this week while we talk, eat, drink, and work in person.
Support hours will be limited to email only – but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered if there are any issues you need to contact us with.
We’ll be back soon and full steam ahead next week, with a few exciting announcements and updates to come, so stay tuned!
