Beck has released a video of the first live performance of “Ride Lonesome,” the title track from his album of the same name, recorded May 7 at the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. The performance features longtime band members Jason Falkner on bass and vocals, Roger Joseph Manning Jr. on piano and vocals, and James McAllister on drums, with an orchestral arrangement credited to Beck and his father, David Campbell, conducted by Nicholas Buc.
Beck has also been confirmed as a support act for U2’s The Greatest Show on Earth World Tour 2027, marking his first time sharing a stage with the band since the 2017 Joshua Tree tour. He is set to appear at U2 shows in Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires between late February and late March 2027.
Beck is currently touring North America in support of Ride Lonesome, with dates running through mid-November including stops in Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Nashville and several West Coast cities. According to the announcement, his Brooklyn Paramount show on Oct. 23 and Asheville’s Thomas Wolfe Auditorium date on Oct. 28 are sold out.
