Bryan Adams has released a new single, “Lake Ontario,” the latest preview of his forthcoming studio album “How’s It Goin’,” due November 6 via BAD Records. The track pairs a story about the Great Lake with pointed commentary on current political distractions, according to Adams, who frames the song as a statement that some things endure beyond political turmoil.
“How’s It Goin'” is described by Adams as a tribute to Canada, drawing on Celtic folk and rock influences to explore the country’s landscapes, history and culture across 13 tracks. The album includes songs such as “51st State,” “Diesel and Dirt,” “Iron Ribbon,” “The Battle of Lundy’s Lane” and “The Ballad of Terry Fox.”
The release will be available digitally, with “Lake Ontario” as a bonus track, as well as on CD and vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves. A hardback book edition featuring the album on CD along with lyrics and imagery tied to the record’s themes will also be offered.
