Camila Cabello’s “Liar” music video will have your mind spinning. In the video, you will have a hard time figuring out what is real and what is fake. She is stuck in a dream-like state about confronting her rich, shallow boyfriend. After telling him the truth about how she really feels about him, there is a series of events that take place that causes her to die, wake up, and then dream again. Every time she tries to do things differently in the reoccurring dream, the end result is the same.
The video is directed by Dave Meyers, and this particular song is the followup to Camila’s “Shameless,” and she’ll perform it Oct. 12 on Saturday Night Live.
