Creative Community for Peace (CCFP), an entertainment industry nonprofit, held its eighth annual “Ambassadors of Peace” event in Beverly Hills, honoring Gene Simmons, actress and producer Erin Foster, Atlantic Music Group president Kevin Weaver, producer Lynn Harris and HYBE America music president Ethiopia Habtemariam. The organization said the event recognized industry figures who speak out against hate and use arts and culture to bridge divides, according to the announcement.

The gala, held at the home of Warner Music Group executive VP of A&R Aton Ben-Horin, drew more than 600 attendees from across music and entertainment, including Universal Music Publishing Group chairman and CEO Jody Gerson, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr., Atlantic Records CEO Elliot Grainge, Warner Music Group COO Tom Corson and UTA’s David Zedeck, among others cited in the release.

CCFP chairman David Renzer and executive director Ari Ingel addressed rising antisemitism in their remarks, with Ingel saying the organization draws its strength from industry members willing to speak against hate. Honorees including Simmons, Weaver, Harris and Habtemariam used their acceptance speeches to call for dialogue and unity, with several referencing the lasting impact of the October 7 attacks on the Jewish community.
